Exotic Fruit Traders is a family owned & operated company and it was established in 1985. It was established because there is a need in the fresh produce market to introduce exotic fruit and vegetables that are grown in Australia onto the plates of Australians.
Since the 1985 many fruits such as mangoes and avocados have now become stables in the Australian diet.
Today Exotic Fruit Traders still attempts to turn what is exotic today into the stable of tomorrow by introducing many new fruits such as Langset, Rambutan & Mangosteen into the Australian Market.
While Exotic fruit traders initially intended to service the Sydney independent retails, today our customers range from large chain stores to small independent and overseas retails.
Because Exotic Fruit Traders has always taken pride to supply a premium product to it’s customers, many exclusive retails demand only products that we supply.
For many of our growers we are the exclusive Sydney distributor of their product. With our knowledge of the consumer demands some of our growers have bread and acquired a PBR (Plant Breeder Rights) for their particular product.
